XPAND's VETcentral Solution Right on Target for OFCCP Compliance
Reston, Virginia - August 8, 2007
XPAND Corporation welcomed the release today of the final rule on the 2002 Jobs for Veterans Act from the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP). The regulations, which will go into effect officially on September 7, 2007, state:
A contractor may satisfy the mandatory job listing requirement by submitting job listings to the appropriate employment delivery system in a variety of ways, including via mail, facsimile (FAX), electronic mail, or other electronic postings.
XPAND's compliance solution, VETcentral, does just that. Launched on July 1, 2007, five weeks prior to the final ruling, VETcentral job distribution service automatically identifies a Career One-Stop office or Veterans counselor for each submitted job order using an integrated Geographic Information System (GIS) and distributes the job orders via email, dynamic fax, or priority mail, as appropriate.
Dr. James Acquah, XPAND's COO said today, "We had spent a good deal of time researching the needs of all stakeholders. We were confident we were on the right track, but with the release of the final regulations, we now see we've scored a home run."
VETcentral job distribution service is provided in partnership with JobCentral National Labor Exchange to the member companies of DirectEmployers Association. For information on how your company can become a member, please visit our partner's website at www.directemployers.org
